  1. THE PROMOTER

The promoter is: Lincolnshire Housing Partnership Limited, a registered society with registration number 7748 of Cartergate House, 26 Chantry Lane, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 2LJ (LHP)

  1. THE COMPETITION
    • The title of the competition is LHP Easter Egg Design Competition.
    • We want you to design your own Easter egg. Just email your submission through to communications@lincolnshirehp.com and we will select the best 2 to win a special prize. Closing date: 22 March 2024.
  2. HOW TO ENTER
    • The competition will run from 3:00pm on 21 February 2024 (the “Opening Date“) to 5:00pm on Friday 22 March 2024 (the “Closing Date“) inclusive.
    • All competition entries must be received by LHP by no later than 5:00pm on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
    • To enter the competition:
    • LHP will not accept:
      • responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
      • proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
    • By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

    • The competition entries will be judged by a panel of [three] judges [based on the most number of correct answers and if applicable, the most apt and original answer to the tie-break question]. The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final.
  3. ELIGIBILITY
    • The competition is only open to LHP customers aged 18 years or over
    • In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. LHP may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
    • LHP will not accept competition entries that are:
      • automatically generated by computer;
      • completed by third parties or in bulk;
      • illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
      • photocopies and not originals; or
    • There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
    • LHP reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
    • Competition entries cannot be returned.
  4. THE PRIZE
    • The prize is a luxury Easter egg, there are two available to be won.
    • Prizes are subject to availability. LHP reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
    • We will contact the winning person to discuss their dietary requirements so that we can supply a prize from a relevant third party (the “Supplier”)]. LHP reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond LHP’s control makes it necessary to do so.
    • The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
  5. WINNERS
    • The decision of the judges nominated by LHP is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
    • LHP will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.
    • If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact LHP at communications@lincolnshirehp.com
  6. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
    • Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize
    • The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
    • LHP will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 28 of days of the Announcement Date, LHP reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that were received before the Closing Date.
    • LHP does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
  7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Insofar as is permitted by law, LHP, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of LHP, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  1. OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
    • By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
      • assign to LHP all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
      • waive all moral rights,

in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

  • By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you confirm that:-
    • all images, videos and other submissions (Submitted Material) are original works, not defamatory and do not infringe any thirty party intellectual property rights;
    • the Submitted Material is free from any restriction in respect of its usage, transfer or publication;
    • any third-party images or video contained included within the Submitted Material is supplied with the irrevocable consent of such third party and you will provide evidence such consent to LHP on request;
    • where any Submitted Material contains or includes images or video of a person under the age of 18, the consent of that individual’s parent or guardian has been obtained and you will provide evidence such consent to LHP on request;
  • You agree that LHP may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website www.lincolnshirehp.com and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant LHP a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
  1. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

LHP will only process your personal information as set out in the https://www.lincolnshirehp.com/privacy-policy/. See also condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.

  1. GENERAL
    • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, LHP may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
    • LHP reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
