Reporting domestic abuse

Domestic abuse takes many forms and can affect women and men of all ages and backgrounds. The abuse can be from a spouse, partner, boy/girlfriend, ex-partner or another family member.

We will not allow domestic abuse by or against any of our tenants. We will work with the police and other agencies using legal processes to deal with this. We will take the matter to County Court and seek a possession order if a tenant’s violence causes other members of their family to move out and be rehoused.

We offer confidential, impartial support through the provision of a wide range of services to address your needs. We will support you if you are a victim of domestic abuse. We will give you information about the options that are available to you and the details of specialist local and national support agencies.

If you need to report domestic abuse directly to us, you can do this by registering or logging into our customer portal and smartphone app.
