Our warden services can help you maintain your independence by offering the comfort of knowing help is always nearby. With regular wellbeing checks, an emergency response service and day-to-day practical support, you never have to feel alone.
Full warden service You will receive five support visits each week by a warden as well as help and support with tasks such as, making appointments, form filling and being referred to the relevant agencies if required, plus access to organised social events in or near your community. With the full warden service you also benefit from having access to the Emergency Response Service – support when you need it most in an emergency, the Emergency Response Service also provide our out of hours service. Twenty-four hour emergency cover is designed to help you feel confident in your home knowing that support is always there in the event of an emergency. It includes a 24/7 monitoring service, including a call pendant or pull cord and smoke detectors - available every single day of the year. Should an emergency happen, you’ll also be supported by an emergency warden who can assist you or check on you at your home. If you live in one of our Boston Sheltered Schemes, the warden will also take care of minor housing management issues.
The charge for the service is £8.28 per week, this charge is not available through Housing Benefit and therefore needs to be paid direct to LHP via a swipe card or Direct Debit weekly or monthly whichever suits you best.
This service is currently only available in the south of the county.
You don’t need to be a LHP tenant to use the service.
