Coronavirus update 05 January 2021 Our Services and the National Lockdown - January 2021

Following the national lockdown announcement on Monday 4 January, our teams met to discuss the government guidance and review our procedures and risk assessments.

As an organisation, we are confident that we will continue to follow our safe working procedures and risk assessments that have served us well throughout the pandemic.

However, we do want to highlight some changes and important information about some of our services.

  • Our Emergency Repairs Plus Service will remain in place on Wednesday 6 January. Routine repairs will recommence on Thursday 7 January. We’re asking customers to only call us if the repair is absolutely necessary and not to log a repair call if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or are self-isolating – please wait until after your symptoms have subsided or your isolation period has ended
  • Our planned maintenance programme will continue
  • Welfare visits for customers in our Sheltered Housing Schemes and Mayfields Extra Care Scheme will recommence on Thursday 7 January
  • The restaurant service at our Mayfields Extra Care Scheme remains open to residents only. Social distancing measures are in place and door-to-door meal delivery is available for those residents who feel more comfortable staying in their rooms
  • Guest rooms in our Sheltered and Extra Care Schemes are closed
  • Property viewings can continue under government guidelines, following social distancing measures. Virtual viewings are encouraged, where possible
  • Our Lettings Teams has also put in measures including electronic signatures and the use of key safes to allow you to move into your new home

We will post any updates on our services at and on our social media channels. For national updates on the Coronavirus outbreak, please visit
