The first 30 brand new LHP homes have been officially unveiled.
Twenty-one rental and nine part rent, part buy - shared ownership homes have been revealed at Mayflower Gardens – an attractive new development in the popular Old Leake village, near Boston.
Increasing the supply of affordable accommodation, LHP has developed a mix of both rental accommodation and popular shared ownership properties including:
LHP head of asset management Martin Woods said: “These are modern, first-class affordable properties in a lovely location.
“We’re extremely pleased to be able to officially unveil them – they help us meet demand for properties and provide more housing options for local residents – both people who want affordable rent without having to save a deposit or pay admin fees and people who are struggling to get a foot on the property ladder.”
Part funded by Homes England and LEP and designed and developed by local construction company Lindum Homes; Mayflower Gardens sits in an attractive countryside location a short walk from the village centre with its host of local amenities.
These are the first set of homes LHP has officially unveiled since forming at the beginning of April - a move which will see the provision of an extra 60 new homes within Lincolnshire each year.
Martin added: “These are our first set of new homes, with more to come – an extra 60 homes per year will enable us to house an additional 4,000 people over the next 30 years.”
LHP has also begun work on transforming two former East Marsh garage sites into housing developments providing 23 new Grimsby homes.
