A Royal Coronation Celebration Across Our Integrated Living Schemes

The past weeks have been filled with joy and excitement as our residents and staff have been actively participating in a series of coronation events, celebrating the crowing of King Charles. These celebrations have not only brought our communities closer together but have also created a memorable experience for all involved.

Our schemes at Mayfields, The Meadows, The Orchards, Park Lodge and Valentine Close have all hosted spectacular events, each with its own unique flair and energy. Our dementia day care service Memory Lane also held an event at Mayfields which featured an exciting star appearance from the Dream Belles!

In particular, the event at Mayfields proved to be a huge success, with over 40 residents and guests from Memory Lane in attendance. The Meadows, Valentine Close and The Orchards also saw excellent turnouts, proving that the spirit of unity and celebration is alive and well in our communities.

We are especially proud of how our staff and residents came together to make these events a reality. A special mention goes to Sandra Hammond who was instrumental in orchestrating the events at Mayfields and The Meadows. Debbie Dennis put in a lot of effort into making the Valentine Close event a success, and Deborah Bradley played a crucial role in the Memory Lane event. Meanwhile, the events at The Orchards and Park Lodge were more resident led, providing that our communities are not just places to live, but places where residents can take the lead and create memorable experiences for their neighbours.

We wish to express our gratitude to everyone who has participated. Your enthusiasm and spirit have made these celebrations truly special. We’ve included some photos below from the various events which truly encapsulate the joy, camaraderie, and unity that these coronation events have brought to our integrated living schemes.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff, residents and guests who have contributed to the success of these events. Together, we have created memories that will last a lifetime. Here’s to more wonderful celebrations in the future!
