We’re recruiting for our Customer Focus Committee!

We’re looking for LHP customers to join our Customer Focus Committee as Independent Committee Members.

This is an opportunity to help shape decisions, improve services and make sure customer voices are heard at the heart of LHP.

We know many people may think roles like this are only for people with professional experience or formal qualifications — but that is not the case!

We are looking for people with different experiences, backgrounds and perspectives. Your experience as an LHP customer is what matters most.

You do not need previous Board or Committee experience and we will provide:

• Full induction and training
• IT equipment and support if needed
• A buddy to support you
• Flexible support based on your circumstances

The role is strategic, meaning you will help look at the bigger picture and influence improvements across LHP. You would not be expected to deal with individual complaints or day-to-day service issues.

The role takes around two days per month on average and meetings are mostly online.

Independent Committee Members receive £2,951 per year, plus reasonable expenses.

We would especially welcome applications from people who may not normally consider opportunities like this.
