Our exclusive images capture the last standing section of Tennyson House, as the East Marsh high-rise demolition continues apace.
The images, taken from the one remaining block - Albion House - show just nine floors of the 15 storey tower, and one small corner.
Dismantled from top to bottom, work to demolish Grimsby’s six high-rise tower blocks began in March.
Nelson House was the first block to go, followed by Garibaldi, Thesiger and Bevan Houses.
Marking the start of a new era for the East Marsh, it is anticipated that work will be completed in November 2018.
LHP are working with local agencies including North East Lincolnshire Council to seek views on what future use the cleared site should be used for.
At this stage there is no firm decision on what that may be but demolition and a cleared site presents a genuine opportunity for potential development which could revitalise and significantly change this historical but often forgotten area in the heart of Grimsby.
The site will continue to be monitored by 24 hour security.
