East Marsh Customer First Tour overview

On Wednesday 6 December, we welcomed our Board Members and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to Elliott House in Grimsby for our latest Customer First Tour.

We were joined by partners and stakeholders from Humberside Police (Sgt. Ruby Rayner and PC Harry Carmichael)East Marsh United (Dr Billy Dasein and Paula Graves), and North East Lincolnshire Council (Councillors Steve Beasant and Nicola Aisthorpe) for the tour, which this time took in the East Marsh.

The walking route took in Webster Way and our garage sites, Tom Hammond Way, Bath Street flats, and Albion Street (including the former high-rise flat site). Board Members were informed of the work we undertake with partners in our neighbourhoods and communities, as well as hearing from Humberside Police on how we work together to tackle ASB, East Marsh United’s hopes for the future of the Mariners Rest pub, and how North East Lincolnshire Council plan to combat litter and fly-tipping.

The group also met our Environmental Task Team and customers on Tom Hammond Way, who spoke about the issues that are important to them, including paving and grounds maintenance.

There was also time to find out more about our partnership work with groups such as Harbour PlaceOpen Door, and Empower.

The tour was concluded with a Meet and Greet with customers at St Andrew’s Church Hall on Garibaldi Street.

Please keep an eye out for future Customer First Tours on our social media accounts.
