Respite Room at Mayfields

LHP are very pleased to offer a respite room at our Extra Care Scheme in Mayfields, Boston.

The respite room is a private space for those who are caring for others, or individuals themselves that are receiving care.

Having been specially designed as a relaxing space, the room gives those who need it the chance to take a much-deserved break.

Respite rooms are also ideal for people who may have recently left hospital but aren’t quite ready to return home, providing a compact and accessible space to recuperate in.

Inside, the room has everything you might need to help with rest or recovery time, such as:

• A single bed, which is convertible into a double bed
• Accessible bathroom
• Clean bedding and linens
• TV
• Dining area
• Seating area
• Kitchen area

We opened this room to support the local community and to help relieve some of the NHS bed blocking issues seen in in many hospitals.
