We rely on you paying your rent regularly and quickly so that we can pay for housing management costs and for repairs and improvements to our properties including your own.
The amount you pay is set at the beginning of your tenancy and is reviewed annually at the beginning of April using government policy guidelines.
How much rent you can expect to pay for a LHP property
The following figures are the 2018/19 average net weekly rents for our properties excluding any water, heating or service charges.

All LHP properties are subject to Council Tax charges. For more information about Council Tax and to find out which Council Tax band applies to a property please contact the relevant local authority.
If you are on a 48 week tenancy this means your annual rent is calculated over 48 weeks and not 52 and such there are four weeks in a year that we do not charge your rent account.
If you are up-to-date with your rent payments and paying satisfactorily in advance, you will not be required to make any payments over the four rent free weeks.
However, if you are in arrears with your rent, you must continue to make your agreed payments during these weeks. The bonus of doing this is that everything paid will be taken fully from your arrears and your debt will reduce faster.
