July Coronavirus update 19 July 2021 Important information following the government's relaxation of COVID restrictions

From today (Monday 19 July), the government is relaxing restrictions around the COVID pandemic. As you will know from our regular communications, we have always followed the government guidance. We will continue to do so.
That means we will proceed with caution when we change any of the working practices that have served us so well throughout the pandemic. We were able to maintain many of our services thanks to following government guidance and thorough risk assessments during the various lockdown periods, so there isn’t much change in that respect.
However, as a Customer First organisation, there are a few things we want to make you aware of:
  • Our reception areas will remain closed to customers
  • We’re telling employees to maintain social distancing when visiting your home – respecting your personal space is important to us
  • We expect employees to continue wearing a suitable face covering when they visit you in your home
  • But we won’t be asking you to wear a face covering when we visit your home. You are free to make your own choice when it comes to face coverings
  • We will ensure that we have plentiful supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. face coverings, gloves, sanitiser etc.
  • When employees are travelling in company vehicles together, we’re asking them to wear to suitable face coverings as protection
  • LHP employees with any known symptoms of COVID-19 will be instructed to stay at home and inform their Supervisor or Line Manager. This means we can make suitable arrangements so that we can continue to provide our services to you
As always, we want you to know that your safety is our top priority. We’re still updating our website with any Coronavirus information and you can find this at www.lincolnshirehp.com/coronavirus. Please also keep an eye on www.gov.uk/coronvirus for the latest national updates.
