January 2021 lockdown - further update
As you will know from our communications earlier this week in the wake of the government’s announcement about a further national lockdown, we moved to an Emergency Plus Repairs Service only for Tuesday 5 January.
We have taken the last 24 hours to review our procedures and Risk Assessments against government guidance, which confirms we are able to continue providing a safe routine repairs service to you, as we have done over the past few months.
As an organisation, we are confident that we will continue to follow our safe working procedures and risk assessments that have served us well.
Our Emergency Plus Repairs Service will continue for Wednesday 6 January, whilst we update our teams on the new guidance, and we will revert to our regular service from Thursday 7 January.
While we are continuing our repairs service during this national lockdown, we’re asking you to only log a repair with us if it is absolutely necessary. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or self-isolating, please do not call to log a repair and instead call us back when your symptoms or self-isolation period has ended.
We will be carrying on with external planned maintenance, compliance checks (fire, gas safety etc.) and work on our void properties.
We’re extremely aware from the government’s announcement that Coronavirus is still very prevalent and has not gone away, which is why we are asking everyone to continue taking extreme precautions, so that we can protect both you and our staff.
