Coronavirus - our next steps 18 May 2021 Our latest COVID-19 update

We know the Coronavirus pandemic has brought about many challenges and the last 14 months have been difficult for us all. That’s why we welcome the news from the government about the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions, which came into place on Monday 17 May, and that social lives can begin to revert to some sort of normality.

The latest guidelines make little change to the services we provide to you, but there is some good news to share:

  • Our communal lounges reopened on Monday 17 May, with social distancing measures in place
  • Guest rooms in our sheltered schemes also reopened on Monday 17 May
  • We can hold community engagement events for up to 30 people in outdoor locations – please keep an eye on our website and social media for the latest information

Continuing as before:

  • Our receptions will remain closed at both offices. We will review this in June and update you further
  • There’s no change to our Repairs service – we continue to ask you to only report a repair if it is absolutely necessary

Please keep an eye on the government website, for the latest national information. We will continue to send you regular email updates on our services, and you will also find the latest information on our website and social media.

We’re delighted to be able to bring you these snippets of good news and we’re looking forward to more of these updates as the government restrictions are further eased.
