Our warden services can help you maintain your independence by offering the comfort of knowing help is always nearby. With regular wellbeing checks, an emergency response service and day-to-day practical support, you never have to feel alone.
As we’re still busy behind the scenes amalgamating the services we provide, this service is currently only available to our customers in the south of the county. However, you don’t need to be a Boston Mayflower tenant in that area to use the service.
Three levels of service to fit your needs

Level Three – 24 hour emergency cover
Twenty-four hour emergency cover is designed to help you feel confident in your home knowing that support is always there in the case of an emergency. It includes a 24/7 lifeline monitoring service, including a call pendant or pull cord and smoke detectors -- available every single day of the year. Following an initial assessment, discreet equipment may need to be installed in your home, which only takes a couple of hours.
Should an emergency happen, you’ll also be supported by an emergency warden who can assist you or check on you at your home. If you live in one of our Boston Sheltered Schemes, the warden will also take care of minor housing management issues. This Level Three package is included with all three levels of service.
Level Two – Limited warden service
Our medium range service is designed for those who would like to access all of the aspects of the full warden service (Level One) but require fewer warden visits per week (up to two). You will receive help with tasks such as ordering and picking up prescriptions, making appointments and filling out forms. Plus, you will have access to organised social events either in your scheme or a scheme near you.
The Level Three emergency cover is also included with this service, giving you support when you need it in an emergency.
Level One – Full warden service
Level One is our full service package and also our most popular. You will receive up to five support visits each week by the warden as well as help and support with tasks such as ordering and collecting prescriptions, making appointments and form filling, plus access to organised social events in or near your community.
With the Level One service you also benefit from having access to the Level Three emergency response service – support when you need it most in an emergency.
